My decision to run for public office was inspired by a belief that the best government is one that is accessible, accountable, and focused on serving its community. Throughout my career in legislative offices, constituent services, and political campaigns, I've had the opportunity to work closely with residents and see firsthand how local government decisions directly affect people's daily lives. Those experiences showed me that meaningful change often begins at the local level.

As I've become more involved in public service, I realized I didn't just want to help elect leaders—I wanted to be one. I want to bring a fresh perspective, strong work ethic, and a commitment to listening to residents before making decisions. Minooka is a growing community with tremendous potential, and I believe it's important that village leadership plans responsibly for that growth while protecting the qualities that make our community a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

My campaign is built around the idea of "Bringing Change Home." To me, that means improving transparency, encouraging greater community engagement, supporting responsible fiscal stewardship, and ensuring every resident feels their voice is heard. I believe local government works best when elected officials are visible, approachable, and willing to collaborate with residents to solve problems.

Running for Village Trustee is an opportunity to give back to the community, apply the experience I've gained in public service, and help shape Minooka's future. I am motivated by a desire to serve, to lead with integrity, and to make thoughtful decisions that will benefit both current residents and future generations.

I believe public office is not about holding a title—it's about earning the trust of your neighbors every day through honest leadership, hard work, and a genuine commitment to the community. Those are the values that inspired me to run, and they are the values I will bring to the Village Board if elected.
