Meet Brayden

Rooted in Minooka

I was born and raised in Minooka, and this community has shaped who I am. Growing up here, I learned the importance of giving back and taking pride in the place we call home.

From a young age, I was actively involved in community service. For several years, I organized a community-wide pop tab recycling drive that benefited the Ronald McDonald House, bringing together residents to support families with children receiving medical care. Through my local 4-H club, I also helped build one of Minooka's Little Free Libraries and led an effort to recycle thousands of plastic bottle caps into a park bench that now sits beside it—a lasting reminder of what a community can accomplish when people work together.

Those experiences taught me that making a difference doesn't always require a grand gesture. It starts with neighbors helping neighbors and taking ownership of the community we share.
